Paving, pond and drainage
Lots of ‘bits’ had been finished-off when I visited site this week:
- the pond had been lined and the interior walls completed ready to accept the coping,
- the upper terrace had been laid,
- the new downpipes were installed and the paths and paving completed around them, and
- the wall cladding was complete.
The step treads and wall coping were due to arrive later in the week, so attention was focused on the water storage and the lighting.
The water tank had been positioned but needs to be enclosed and plumbed-in and a standpipe installed.
I left the electrician on site preparing to install the lights in the step risers and on the arbour posts.
